Where is SAW?! Fight Club is here and NOT Saw? Feck right off! | comments: Rant |
| General consensus says that if you have an issue with someone, you talk to them about it, and get it dealt with.
Unless of course you're a little whiney bitch, then you decide that the best course of action is to attempt to get criminal charges pressed claiming harassment, purely because someone was trying to find out what was going on and why he was suddenly being ignored for doing nothing more than trying to help out.
'course, the police aren't that stupid, and can see a pointless case when they see it, which is why they took about 3 weeks to even do more than just phone me (and that's not counting how long it took them to initially contact me), and that was it. So obviously it was a "serious" matter...
Gotta love little whiney bitches who try and deliberately screw you over, and at Christmas too...
Makes me glad I was able to get out of that relationship when I did. I'm round the other side of the world, with no way of hurting her, I pity the poor bastards who are in person... what will she do with them if she gets a little pissed off? Attempt a rape charge? Try and ban them from being within a hundred yards of her... even if they go to the same school, thus preventing them going to school there?
So if the girl in question is reading this. Thanks for the Christmas entertainment, it was actually a great laugh knowing how much of an attempt was made to screw me over, and watching everyone around making zero attempt at taking it seriously (as it wasn't a serious case, and never was going to be... had it gone further, you had been ignoring me, and all the e-mails said was "why are you doing so" in various ways).
But I do hope you enjoyed my post-christmas present of appearing on the front page of Real Life Comics.
You know where I am if you ever wish to apologize for being out of order. But it'll take one killer of an apology to make me forgive someone for pulling that sort of stunt. | comments: Rant |
| What a day yesterday.
Wake up at 6 in the morning, get ready, and head out at 7am to get into town itself, from there I get on a bus at 7:35 (It leaves at 7:55, but why wait around? Get a good seat early on), that heads to London.
Get off the bus around 12:30ish (It was running damned late...), and from there head round the corner to jump on a bus to Oxford (I wish I'd grabbed something to eat prior to getting on this bus really, as I hadn't eating at all so far in the day, hell, this was my first chance to have a drink since leaving the house too).
By this point, I already have a killer headache from not eating and sleeping way too much on the way down, but I figure... I'm most of the way there now, and it's EWW, the show is going to rock even if the extent of my work there ends up being one interview.
After almost two hours on the bus, I arrive in Oxford, and a quick walk to the cash machine has me getting enough cash out for the trip through to Whitney... during which time two buses to Whitney go past (typical), thankfully there's a ton of people to get on one of 'em, so I get to the bus stop in time to get on the bus.
After a long trip (where a seriously hot gal sat next to me... shame I wont see her again really), I got off the bus, and headed into The Palace Nightclub to meet up with the guys on the show (feeling like crap at this point, I've been travelling for near 10 hours, and I've yet to eat that day).
Head out with Ricky Slatter to grab a pizza, (one each, I needed food for christ's sake!) Back to the building, and we have to go in the side door as the main one is locked... unfortunately so's the door down there too, so a quick call to Chris O'Regan from Ricky has him coming down to let us in.
Five minutes, and an entire pizza later, I call Chris myself, and he says he's already come down, I point out we're at the back exit, and he finally gets his ass down to let us back in.
Head's still killing me tho', so I pretty much sit down for a while, trying to shake it off, by the time the show starts, I'm still feeling like I should be dying.
Worth noting at this point of the evening I'm wearing a fucking ELF costume! (We're going with a geeky interviewer role for me, so making me look stitched up works brilliantly, especially an interviewer who dresses as an Elf for frickin' Halloween).
So we do some interviews with a few guys (Marty Scurll, Joe FX, Phil Bedwell & Flatliner, all great guys, tho' Flatliner's slap came out of nowhere for me), and my head feels somewhat better, but we have a lull, and my head's as bad as it was.
We're nearing match 2, UK Pitbulls Vs Sykes & Karl Krammer. The flaw being that Sykes has yet to arrive (Bad traffic and crap directions from the net being his downfall), he arrives with about 5 minutes until his match is due to begin, so after a very quick change, he heads out there for his match, from what little I saw on the backstage screen, it went over quite well.
As the night progressed, my head felt a LOT better, to the point where I was chatting quite normally with Joe FX, and a few of the other guys, all good blokes down there, great atmosphere (seriously, any workers, see if ya can get booked at EWW, and fans... go see an EWW show, one of the greatest experiences ever!)
Also did an interview with Sam Slam, in which the microphone I was using ended up in three pieces... that guy is nuts, but definitely in a good way.
As the night progressed, (Well, neared the end really), my head had completely cleared, and both myself and James are getting a lift back with Sykes and his missus (Joy), but considering they're hungry (and to be fair, so was I after only eating a pizza), we stop at a burger van, they get something quick... I get two 1/2 lbs burgers which I downed before we even got back in the car (I was feckin' hungry, alright?!), wish I'd got a drink at that point tho', lol.
Had a good joke and chat with 'em all on the way back (until I fell asleep), and finally got in at like 4:30am (I think Sykes must have got in at like 6am or something, but they're damned good people).
As a whole, the night was amazing, and the show seemed a complete success, unfortuantely not all the interviews that needed to be done got done, but extra ones were taken as well. Also, I was meant to take pics of most of the wrestlers, but unfortunately that never happened as I felt like I was gonna die for the first half of the show, by the time I felt better, the videos were the most important thing I felt.
Gotta publicly thank the guys at EWW for a great night tho', it's definitely a brilliant place, and I can't wait to see the finished result (seriously, buy the damned DVD, even if it's only to see me dressed up like a complete twat, and choked by Sam Slam, along with acting like a moron backstage as well... it's my gimmick after all :P). Already looking forward to the next one.
My next booked show is back at RDW in Skegness at The Suncastle, where it's RDW's anniversary show on November 10th. I advise everyone who can to get down there to see some VERY good wrestling, and me as a referee :D. | comments: Rant |
| I should at least use this thing now it's here, heh.
So lessee... got some more refereeing (hopefully) lined up in the next few months, definitely got the Skegness shows that I'm gonna be getting to (Gonna do the majority of those if I can't do 'em all). Anyone who wishes to know, as of July 12th, there's shows at The Suncastle in Skegness for ten straight weeks, every Wednesday night. Gonna be great.
Currently been playing some of the Singstar games (Singstar, Singstar 80's and Singstar Rocks to be precise), amazing games, however a slight problem I've found... is that on the career type mode on the original game, I somehow am very good at the Westlife track, which is annoying with me hating them, it means I'm stuck singing their crap whenever I have to sing a gig or a recording... really annoying.
Another top game that I'm waiting to get back from my cousin is Guitar Hero. When my copy of the game is returned, I'll post some challenges for people (And if anyone has any challenges of scores for me to beat, feel free to reply with 'em (just gimmie proof you've hit said target, and you're not just pulling it out of thin air :P).
Also been getting into Necromunda with my mate (Wasley, for those who remember me talking about him (or those who know him)), top game, by the guys who made Warhammer, and while it's actually out of print now, it's still great to play, and it's cheaper to play (Less models), and the basis of it is that you charge around, hiding behind scenery, shooting the crap out of the enemy, think a first person shooter type of game, but done on the tabletop.
SPeaking of which, I've recently bought Doom, the board game version of it tho', so we'll see how that holds up to being transferred to the board after this coming weekend.
Got the XFW Reunion coming up soon, got a lot of surprises lined up for it too. We'll see if I can finally shock the crap out of Markish. :P.
Right, off to do a few more tracks on Singstar... but I'm switching over to the Rock's version now. lol | comments: 1 Rant or Rant |

I'll ask you something I've always wanted to ask you. 8. If I do this for you, you must post this on yours. | comments: Rant |
| So let's see... On the one hand we have an ex who feels a prank call is funny, yet wants to go to University, manages her time in the same manner that a dog eats it's damned dinner, and gets pissed off when a friend asks her a favour.
Then you have another ex... who vows to make an effort to be a decent person... to not lie, to actually keep her word on shit. Only to then lie continually, never keep her word, and make every effort to screw you over at every corner.
And yes, another ex who you make an effort to help, lend an ear to, then try and make her understand shit from a nuetral perspective... who goes fucking nuts when you actually take a DIFFERENT view to hers. I'm not going to sit there and just nod and agree for fuck's sake, I'm going to state MY opinion on the matter too, because, y'know... it helps out more than just putting a virtual arm on your shoulder and telling you everything will be alright, when you know that shit that she did was wrong.
Why is it I'm surrounded by people who seem to think logic and common sense only applies to others? Why is it that whenever my opinion differs from there's, that I'm suddenly in the wrong and insulting them? Why is it that when I actually make an effort to be the kind and caring guy, I get crapped on by every fucker walking the fucking earth?!
Seriously. I'm sick to the fucking teeth of this bullshit, to anyone who reads this now (and who will in the future) if you can't be fucking honest, if the shit you speak isn't going to accurately convey your feelings, if you can't keep your word on shit... get the fuck out of here now.
When you agree to something, that's it, done and dusted, you've agreed to it, whether you've signed a contract, agreed to meeting someone for lunch, agreed to cover a shift for someone, agreed to have someone visit/visit someone, or just agreed to meet someone online for a chat... unless something serious comes up (y'know... hospital, family member being ill, work calls in and you have to desperately rush in to cover etc.) then you keep your damned word.
You don't change your mind because you can't be bothered... you don't say "screw them, they're not important enough", you don't say that you "can't" do something when it's simply laziness.
Once you've agreed, you've damned well agreed. It's as simple as that. I can't stand people who go back on their word, if you have something to say regarding it, speak up at the time, don't wait a few weeks/months whatever... say it then. Because otherwise, I'll be expecting that word to be kept. Irrespective of what it is.
Why? Because it's a sign of respect... it's a sign of respect if you allow that person to visit despite the fact you might be feeling a little off, because they've made arrangements for it to happen, it's a sign of respect to get online because of the fact the other person is going to be sitting there wasting an entire day waiting for you, and all you've done is say "fuck it", it's a sign of respect to make that extra effort to do something when you may not really feel like doing it, because of the fact you want to keep your word to someone who you care about.
To back out last minute, to break the agreement... is a sign of disrespect, it's a sign that you don't really care about the other person to the same degree that you care about yourself... yes, to break an agreement that you've made for no reason other than "I don't feel like it now" is to be fucking selfish... and I'm not talking about one person here... I'm talking about a few... but a certain two in particular, and if/when they read this, they'll know who they are.
I'm sick and tired of people believing that everyone else should just "deal" with what they do... that's not how the real world works, and it's not how I work. if shit comes up you can't prevent, fair enough, but when you CAN do what you agreed to... you knuckle down and do it out of respect... otherwise you're just stating that you couldn't give two shits about anybody but yourself. | comments: Rant |
